Why is there no Tesla Supercharger price list here?
Tesla publishes no price list. Every Supercharger has its own price, it often changes with the time of day (lower off-peak) and Tesla adjusts it without notice – only the car's navigation or the Tesla app shows the current price of a given site. A single number in the table would be stale before we could update it, so Superchargers are not compared here.
For Tesla owners the Supercharger is nonetheless usually the cheapest fast charging on the market, with no card or sign-up – just plug in. Other EVs can charge at open Superchargers through the Tesla app, at a higher price or with a monthly membership.
Every Supercharger is on the map; site status is taken weekly from supercharge.info. Tesla Superchargers on the map →
Frequently asked questions about charging prices
How much does public EV charging cost in Slovakia?
Without a monthly fee you pay from 0,28 €/kWh per kWh at an AC charger (up to 22 kW), from 0,38 €/kWh at a DC fast charger and from 0,38 €/kWh at an ultra-fast station (150 kW and more). The table above compares 8 operators by their current price lists.
How much does charging an EV from 20 to 80 % cost?
With a 60 kWh battery that is roughly 36 kWh. At the cheapest no-fee price it comes to about 10,08 € on AC, about 13,68 € at an ultra-fast DC station. A bigger battery or a pricier plan costs proportionally more; charging at home is usually half to two thirds cheaper.
What is the difference between AC and DC charging?
AC (alternating current, usually 11 or 22 kW) is slower and cheaper – for car parks, work or hotels. DC (direct current, 50 to 400 kW) charges the battery directly and adds hundreds of kilometres in 20–30 minutes, hence the higher price. Ultra-fast stations above 150 kW often have their own, higher rate.
What is an idle or parking fee?
A per-minute fee most operators charge when the car stays plugged in after charging has finished or after the free time runs out (usually 45–60 minutes on DC, often free at night). It is meant to free the bay for others; the exact terms are in the operator's price list and on its page here.
Is a plan with a monthly fee worth it?
Only if you charge regularly. For example ROAD SAFE by ZSE Drive at 33,90 € a month pays off against the cheapest no-fee price from about 90 kWh a month (roughly 450 km). Occasional public chargers are better off without a fee.
Where can I charge for free?
The map has 60 charging stations free for everybody – mostly at shops, municipal offices and some hotels; others are free only for guests or customers. The list by city is on the Free charging page. Free charging →
How do I pay at a charger?
Usually with the operator's app or RFID card; most stations also take payment without registration via QR code or a card terminal (ad hoc), usually at a higher price. Roaming (charging at another operator with your own card) tends to have its own rate, which is not listed here.
Why is Tesla Supercharger missing from the table?
Tesla publishes no price list: every Supercharger has its own price, it changes with the time of day and Tesla adjusts it without notice, so only the car's navigation or the Tesla app shows the current price. For Tesla owners the Supercharger is usually the cheapest fast charging on the market; other brands can charge at open Superchargers through the Tesla app at a higher price or with a membership. Where do the prices come from and how often are they updated?
From the operators' public price lists. We check them automatically every week and copy changes into the table; prices on station pages follow the plan you set in your profile. If you see a different price, report it right from the station page.
Noticed a different price? Report it – we check the price lists every week, but the one who is charging right now spots a change first.
